Trash Pickup

Trash pickup service is provided street side on Monday and Thursday in our neighborhood.  Effective April 1, 2019, Bammel Forest Civic Club has contracted this service through Texas Pride Disposal for the entire neighborhood.

We currently use a sticker program to identify residents who subscribe to the trash service.  Stickers are mailed out quarterly and are color coded so each quarter is easily recognized.  Residents should place the sticker on a trash can as soon as you receive it.  On trash pickup days, place your trash can(s) at the street; make sure the trash can with the sticker is facing the street.  Older expired stickers should be removed when the new quarterly stickers are received.  If you have more than two stickers on your trash can or your sticker is expired Texas Pride Disposal is instructed to pass by.

Payment for your trash service is due upon receipt of your statement.  Statements are mailed out on the 20th of each month.  Checks should be made payable to Bammel Forest Civic Club at the address provided on the statement.  All returned checks will be billed back and your account will receive an additional $25 charge to cover bank fees.  If you have questions regarding your bill, or to establish new service, please contact Guy Brown at 281-397-7671.

Heavy trash or bulk waste picked up every service day; some restrictions apply to large items.  Only two heavy items will be picked up on a service day.  Review the service guidelines on Texas Pride Disposal’s website: http://www.texaspridedisposal.com/service-guidelines.html for details.  You can also contact the Bammel Forest board member in charge of Trash Pickup.

Please refrain from setting your trash out the night before service; this often results in trash being turned over by stray animals.  Set your trash cans out only on the days of trash service pickup.

Please note there will be no trash pickup on the following holidays.  Also note, there are no make-up days, only regular scheduled service pickup days.
